Spring time is the time that many people find orphan baby wildlife in their
yards - if you spot a baby bird and see the parent, leave the baby alone as the
mother is teaching it to fly. If you do not see the parent or you feel the
baby is in danger, then pick it up and place it in a box and contact Woodland
Wonders. An EMERGENCY dry diet ONLY is dry cat or dog food soaked in bottled
water until mushy and then fed to the baby.
If you find a baby mammal, put on gloves and place it in a box and keep at room
temperature. Contact Woodland Wonders as soon as possible. Do NOT feed sugar
water, regular milk or such. Babies require special formulas.
